Engineering · Live 3D Overview

Engineering

Lightning protection, grounding, surge protection, UPS systems, PLCs, SCADA, and water utility optimization — the physical foundation everything else depends on.

Lightning Protection
01 · Lightning event captured — energy safely to groundClick any system to inspect

This is important to

Facilities Director

Lightning protection and grounding systems that prevent downtime, equipment loss, and insurance claims.

Plant Engineer

Surge protection and UPS systems that keep critical equipment running through power events.

CFO

Resilience engineering that prevents asset write-offs and business interruption losses.

What we engineer

Lightning Protection

Design, installation, and inspection of lightning protection systems to recognized standards.

Grounding & Earthing

Grounding systems and electrical safety engineering that protect equipment and personnel.

Surge Protection

Surge protective device (SPD) systems that shield sensitive equipment from transient voltage events.

Power Continuity & UPS

UPS systems and electrical resilience engineering for continuous operation through power disruptions.

Tower Infrastructure

Tower installation, rehabilitation, and maintenance for wireless and communications infrastructure.

Control Systems & PLCs

PLC programming, SCADA integration, and industrial control systems for manufacturing and processing facilities.

Water Utility Optimization

SCADA, leak detection, and pump optimization for water authorities and industrial water systems.

Why is lightning protection important in Jamaica?+

Jamaica experiences significant lightning activity, particularly during the rainy season. A properly designed lightning protection system directs strike energy safely to ground, protecting buildings, equipment, and personnel.

What is the difference between lightning protection and surge protection?+

Lightning protection systems intercept direct strikes and route the energy to ground. Surge protection devices (SPDs) protect against transient voltage that travels through power and data lines — including induced surges from nearby strikes. Both are needed for complete protection.

How often should lightning protection systems be inspected?+

Lightning protection systems should be inspected annually and after any major weather event. We provide inspection and certification services.

Do you do site surveys and assessments?+

Yes. We conduct site surveys and infrastructure assessments to identify risks and recommend engineered solutions before problems occur.

Assess your site

Request an engineering site survey to identify your infrastructure risks.
