1. Introduction
Innovera Limited ("Innovera", "we", "us", or "our") uses artificial intelligence ("AI") as an engineering tool — never as a substitute for engineering judgment. This policy explains where AI is used across our business and this website, the safeguards we apply, and the principles that govern its use. It operates alongside our Privacy Policy and is aligned with the Jamaica Data Protection Act, 2017.
2. Where We Use AI
- Service delivery: AI-assisted capabilities inside client engagements — for example video analytics (ANPR/CCTV), threat monitoring, cloud cost and license optimization, and operational automation — deployed under the agreements governing each engagement.
- Internal productivity: AI tools may assist our engineers with drafting, research, code review, and analysis. Outputs are reviewed by the responsible engineer before use.
- This website: Some site content and imagery may have been drafted or assisted by AI tools and is reviewed by our team before publication. Interactive experiences — including the Cyber VITALS self-assessment — are engineered systems with deterministic rules, not generative AI, and produce no AI-generated output about you.
3. Data Protection and AI
We do not submit client data, personal data, or confidential information to unapproved AI services. Where AI processing forms part of a service, it is performed under institutionally approved workflows with appropriate privacy and security safeguards, consistent with our obligations under the Jamaica Data Protection Act, 2017 and client agreements.
Personal data submitted through this website (for example, contact-form enquiries) is not used to train AI models and is not processed by public AI tools.
4. Human Oversight
AI outputs are advisory inputs to human decisions, not autonomous decisions. We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals based solely on automated processing. Recommendations, designs, and deliverables are reviewed by accountable engineers.
5. Accuracy and Limitations
AI systems can produce confident, plausible, and incorrect output. AI-assisted material is therefore verified against authoritative sources before we rely on or publish it. Where we identify an AI-assisted error in published material, we correct it.
6. Your Rights
If you believe AI-assisted processing has affected your personal data, or you have questions about how we use AI, contact us at info@goinnovera.com or +1 (876) 618-9501. Your rights under the Jamaica Data Protection Act are described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our AI practices and applicable guidance evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
