Grounding you can prove, not just assume

Grounding is invisible until it fails. It's where lightning energy ends up, the return path for fault current, and the reference every electronic system depends on. Watch each stage in live 3D.

Why it matters

01
Protect people

Without proper grounding and bonding, fault currents and potential differences put personnel at risk. Touching a metal chassis shouldn't mean touching a voltage.

02
Protect equipment

High-resistance grounding sends fault and surge energy through your equipment instead of into the earth, causing chronic failures and data corruption that are often misdiagnosed as component faults.

03
Know it still works

Grounding degrades silently over years. Testing is how you find out before an incident does, and annual testing is what we recommend.

Ground Rods, Rings & Electrode Design

Grounding networks designed for your soil conditions, building layout, and equipment requirements.

Soil is the one part of the system you can't change, so the electrodes are designed around it. We lay out ground rods, rings and conductors for your soil conditions and building layout, and install them to recognized standards, so fault current and surge energy always have a low-impedance path to earth.

02·Bonding & Integration

Bonding & Integration

Grounding, lightning protection and equipment chassis bonded to eliminate potential differences.

Equipment chassis sitting at different ground potentials cause intermittent failures that get misdiagnosed as individual component faults. They also put people at risk when two metal parts at different potential are touched together. Bonding ties grounding, lightning protection and equipment chassis into one equipotential system.

03·Testing & Measurement

Testing & Measurement

Ground resistance testing verifies system integrity and finds degradation before it matters.

Grounding degrades silently. Soil conditions, corrosion and building modifications change its performance over the years, with no visible sign. We measure ground resistance, map your existing grounding topology, and provide documentation for compliance and insurance, and we recommend testing every year.

Test your grounding system

Request a grounding resistance test to verify your system's integrity. We measure what you have, show you where it falls short, and document the result for compliance and insurance.

LayerPhysical Infrastructure

Grounding is the physical foundation of all electrical safety and protection systems.

Bad grounding destroys equipment silently

Grounding is invisible until it fails. High-resistance grounding allows fault currents and surge energy to travel through your equipment instead of safely to earth. The result is chronic equipment failure, data corruption, and personnel safety risks — often misdiagnosed as individual component failures rather than the systemic grounding problem they actually are.

  • Degraded ground rods and connections that no longer provide low-impedance paths
  • Grounding systems not bonded to lightning protection, creating potential differences
  • Equipment chassis at different ground potentials, causing intermittent failures
  • No testing or maintenance — grounding degrades silently over years

What is grounding and why does it matter?+

Grounding provides a low-impedance path for fault currents and surge energy to safely reach earth. Without proper grounding, this energy travels through your equipment, causing damage, data loss, and safety hazards.

How is grounding different from lightning protection?+

Lightning protection intercepts strikes and routes energy downward. Grounding is the termination point — the system that actually dissipates energy into earth. They must be designed together; a lightning protection system without adequate grounding is dangerous.

How often should grounding systems be tested?+

Grounding systems should be tested annually. Soil conditions, corrosion, and building modifications can all degrade grounding performance over time. We provide testing and certification services.

Can bad grounding cause intermittent equipment failures?+

Yes. High ground resistance, ground loops, and unbonded equipment chassis are leading causes of intermittent failures that are often misdiagnosed as individual component problems.
