Access Control in Jamaica — Doors, Vehicles & Attendance, One System

Smart card readers, maglocks, biometric terminals, vehicle tag readers and time and attendance — designed together so you always know who is on location, which vehicles are inside, and which doors they used. Explore each layer in live 3D below.

01·Smart Card Readers & Maglocks Jamaica

Smart Card Readers & Electromagnetic Locks

RFID proximity and smart-card door access with fail-safe maglocks for offices, warehouses, schools and apartment complexes across Jamaica.

A card tap is checked against the controller in a fraction of a second: valid credential, right door, right time of day — and the maglock releases. Lost cards are revoked remotely, so there is no rekeying and no site visit. Every grant and every denial is time-stamped in the audit log, so you always know who went through which door and when.

02·Biometric Access Control Jamaica

Fingerprint & Facial Recognition Access

Biometric readers for server rooms, stores, pharmacies and executive areas where a card can be lent but a face cannot.

Where the cost of a shared credential is too high, identity is tied to the person. Fingerprint and facial-recognition readers verify who is at the door — alone or combined with a card or PIN for two-factor entry — and release the maglock only on a positive match. Each entry is logged against a named individual, not a card number.

03·Vehicle Tag Readers Jamaica

UHF Vehicle Tag Readers & Barrier Access

Hands-free windshield-tag recognition for staff, fleet and resident vehicles at gates, yards and parking entrances.

A long-range UHF reader recognises the tag on the windshield as the vehicle approaches and raises the barrier without the driver touching anything. Registered cars flow through; unknown vehicles stop at the line. Visitor and contractor passes can be issued, time-limited and withdrawn, so you always know which vehicles are on location.

04·Time & Attendance Jamaica

Time & Attendance — Know Who Is On Site

Clock-in terminals and live rosters for staff, contractors and visitors, with payroll-ready attendance records and emergency muster reports.

The same credentials that open your doors also record the working day. Staff clock in and out by card, fingerprint or face; contractors and visitors are logged on arrival; and a live roster shows exactly who is on location right now. When an alarm sounds, the muster report tells you who has not yet reached the assembly point.

LayerSecurity

Access control operates at the security layer — managing who enters and when.

Keys and keypads don't tell you who entered when

Traditional keys can't be revoked without rekeying. Keypad codes are shared, guessed, and never changed. Neither provides an audit trail. When an incident occurs, you have no record of who was in the building — only that someone was.

  • Keys cannot be revoked without physical rekeying
  • Keypad codes are shared and never tracked to individuals
  • No audit trail of who entered which door and when
  • No remote management — access changes require a site visit

This is important to

Security Manager

Audit trails showing exactly who entered which door and when.

Facilities Director

Remote access management — revoke credentials instantly without site visits.

HR Manager

Clean onboarding and offboarding of access credentials with no physical key handover.

How we work

01

Assess

We map your doors, security zones, and access policies to design the right system.

02

Design

We design an access control system with appropriate reader types and credential management.

03

Install

We install readers, controllers, and software with proper wiring and integration.

04

Manage

We provide training and ongoing support for credential management and reporting.

What types of access control do you offer in Jamaica?+

We install smart card and RFID readers, maglock and electric-strike door hardware, fingerprint and facial-recognition readers, mobile credentials, keypad systems, and UHF vehicle tag readers for barriers and gates. The right mix depends on the security level of each door and how your people move.

Do you provide time and attendance systems?+

Yes. Staff can clock in and out by card, fingerprint, face or PIN. The same credentials that open your doors can record attendance, produce timesheets, lateness and overtime reports, and export data for your payroll software.

Can I see who is on site right now?+

Yes. Access events and clock-ins feed a live roster of staff, contractors, visitors and registered vehicles on location, and an emergency muster report shows who has not yet reached the assembly point.

How do vehicle tag readers work?+

A long-range UHF reader recognises a tag on the vehicle windshield as it approaches and raises the barrier or opens the gate for registered vehicles. Visitor and contractor tags can be time-limited and deactivated instantly.

Are maglocks safe in an emergency?+

Properly designed maglock installations are fail-safe: they release on power loss, on a fire-alarm signal and when someone presses the exit button, so people can always leave. We design egress and life-safety release into every door.

What happens during a JPS power outage?+

Controllers and locks are specified with battery backup, and the door behaviour on power loss is set by policy for each door. We also add surge protection so storms do not take down readers and controllers.

What happens if I lose an access card?+

You revoke the lost credential remotely. No rekeying and no site visit — the card stops working immediately.

Can access control integrate with CCTV and gates?+

Yes. We design integrated security systems where access control, CCTV and gate automation work together — for example, recording a camera clip when a door is opened or a vehicle tag is read.
